It's Over! Uday-nargis Part Ways

Looks like 2015 has not been off to a great start for Bollywood couples. First,  Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s relationship hit a rough patch and now SpotboyE.com has found out that Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhris on-again off-again relationship has finally ended. 

The lovebirds ended their relationship a little before the New Year but have spoken about it only to close friends and relatives.

And it seems that the reason behind this is Udays sister-in-law Rani Mukerji.



Buzz is, Rani was not happy with Udays choice of girlfriend, crushing Nargis dreams of being the other Chopra bahu-  if she had any such dreams, that is. 

Could it be that Nargis outgoing nature and wicked sense of humour was too much for the older daughter-in-law to handle?

Sources close to the couple have also told us that the break-up in turn led to Nargis losing out on her role in Vashu Bhagnanis Welcome to Karachi. Nargis was most definitely going to be a part of the film and even had her costumes stitched. In fact, Irrfan Khan walked out of Welcome to Karachi simply because Nargis didn't do the film.

Irrfan felt that Vashu had asked Nargis to leave the film, but the inside story that now emerges is that it was her (ugly) break-up with Uday that led to her not making it in the final cast. When Uday shut the door on her, Nargis went into a very low phase and chose not to report at work for some time. 

Uday and Nargis broke up around July last year and she did not take the split too well even then either. But they did get back a month or two later.

Before Nargis, Uday dated Kajol's younger sister Tanishaa for three years. His romance with Nargis lasted for two-and-half years.
